1. Cairo - Luxor - Aswan (7 nights / 8 days)
This tour is a journey through the Nile Valley. It takes
you from the capital, Cairo, in the north, all the way down to the Cataracts
in Aswan; including an unforgettable excursion to Abu Simbel.
- Day 1: Cairo
- Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
- Day 2: Cairo
- Morning tour to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities,
which includes--among hundred others--the treasures of King Tut
Ankh Amoon. Afternoon visit to the Citadel, the Sultan Hasan Mosque
and the Bazaar (BL).
- Day 3: Cairo - Luxor
- Full-day tour to Memphis, Sakkara, the Pyramids
and Sphinx. Evening transfer to the Ramsis station for a sleeping-equipped
train to Luxor (BLD).
- Day 4: Luxor
- Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Morning
tour to the West Bank. See the Valley of the Kings, the Temple
of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon visit to Luxor
and the Karnak Temple (BD).
- Day 5: Luxor - Aswan
- Drive to Aswan visiting the Temples of Esna,
Edfu and Kom Ombu en route. Upon arrival to Aswan, enjoy an afternoon
sail by a traditional "Felooka" sailboat (BD).
- Day 6: Aswan - Cairo
- Morning visit to the Granite Quarry, the unfinished
Obelisk, the Old High Dam and the Philae Temple. Evening transfer
to the station for a sleeping-equipped train to Cairo (BD).
- Day 7: Cairo
- Arrive and transfer to your hotel. The rest of
the day free (B).
- Day 8: Cairo
- Transfer to airport for your flight back home.
