1. Cairo - Luxor - Hurghada (7 nights / 8 days)
After exploring the bustle of Cairo and the splendor
of Luxor, you proceed into the Eastern Desert, through the spectacular
moutain scenery to the popular resort of Hurghada at the Red Sea. Time
to relax and enjoy the sun, the sea, and the unspoiled white sand of
the beach. Water skiing, wind surfing, fishing, snorkling and scuba
diving in the crystal clear underwater within the coral gardens, are
only a few of the possibilities.
- Day 1: Cairo
- Upon arrival, met, assisted, and transferred
to your hotel.
- Day 2: Cairo
- Breakfast. Tour to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities,
which includes--among hundred others--the treasures of King Tut
Ankh Amoon. Afternoon tour to the Pyramids and Sphinx, with an
optional ride around the Pyramids. Back to your hotel.
- Day 3: Cairo - Luxor
- Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo Airport for your
flight to Luxor. Afternoon tour to Karnak and Luxor Temples. View
the Great Court, the magnificent Hypostyle Hall, and Queen Hatshepsut's
granite Obelisks. Back to your hotel.
- Day 4: Luxor
- Breakfast. Cross the Nile River for a morning
of awe-inspiring sights including the Valley of Kings and the
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Proceed to the Valley of Queens, with
its vividly colored wall paintings. Visit the fabled Colossi of
Memon. Afternoon free. Back to your hotel.
- Day 5: Hurghada
- Breakfast. Early morning drive across the Easter
Desert to Hurghada at the Red Sea Coast. A unique resort boasting
a virgin beach and great diving facilities to explore the charming
corals and exotic fish of the underwater. Also facilities for
all sports available.
- Day 6: Hurghada
- Breakfast. Free day. Dinner. Overnight in the
village.
- Day 7: Hurghada - Cairo
- Breakfast. Transfer to Hurghada Airport for your
flight back to Cairo. Met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon
tour to Cairo's Medieval Islamic quarters including a visit to
Saladin's Citadel and the 14-century Mosque of Sultan Hasan. Explore
Khan El Khaleely Bazaar. Overnight at your hotel.
- Day 8: Cairo
- Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo Airport for your
flight back home.
